Job title and company

Global Brand Supply Chain Manager (Skincare) – The Estee Lauder Companies

Degree

Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering

What do you do?

I manage various new product launches for the Estee Lauder skincare division. As a project manager, I am responsible for effectively and efficiently bringing new products to the global marketplace. I manage and drive the development process from end-to-end ensuring all key milestones are achieved and resolving supply chain issues as they arise.

What is your favorite part about your job?

I enjoy seeing an idea develop into a tangible product or line of products for launch. I also enjoy working with the core project team comprised of R&D, Packaging, Data Management, Marketing and Design.

What inspired you to enter into your field?

I chose to study Engineering because I knew the career opportunities were endless. I could work in the consumer goods, beauty, pharmaceutical or petrochemical industry just to name a few. I knew I always wanted to work on products that I could one day see on the shelves in a store. For me, I always loved trying out different cosmetic products as a young girl. Having the opportunity to take part in the development of new beauty products that make people feel better about themselves is truly a rewarding experience.
